Storyline:  Android Kikaider: The Animation (2000 ) The genius robotics professor, Dr. Komyoji has created Jiro (who has the ability to transform into Kikaider) âÂEURÂ" a humanoid robot tasked with the protection of Dr. KomyojiâÂEURÂ(TM)s son, Masaru, and daughter, Mitsuko. Gifted with a conscience circuit, which has the power to simulate real emotions that helps to distinguish between âÂEURÂoeright and wrongâÂEUR, Jiro must protect Mitsuko and Masaru from the evil Dr. Gil who wants Jiro to join his army and aid in his goal of world domination. The series is initially a darker version of the original live action tokusatsu show Jinzou Ningen Kikaida, creating or expanding many emotional conflicts within Kikaida and other characters which was not present in the original Kikaida story.
